Dr. Ramey Creery

Dr. Creery joined the Occupational Therapy faculty as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and Assistant Professor in 2024. She has seven years of clinical experience, all with UnityPoint 健康, in Occupational Therapy. She places value in her experience as a generalist working with adults in acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Her clinical areas of interest encompass a broad spectrum of conditions encompassing the whole body. She has a strong interest in neurorehabilitation, working with individuals who have experienced strokes, traumatic brain injuries or other neurological disorders due to her fascination with the brain and neuroplasticity. She particularly passionate about pelvic health, helping patients manage and improve issues related to the pelvic region, with experience working with adult women who experience conditions such as pelvic pain, 尿失禁, 便秘, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction and pre/postnatal concerns. She has experience using a combination of therapeutic interventions, 包括运动, 手工技术, nervous system regulation strategies, education and lifestyle/behavioral modification training to help patients manage and improve their quality of life and overall well-being.
